BRIGHT Products AS is committed to healthy, long-term and sustainable business operations in which respect for people, society and the environment is central. To fulfil our mission of providing access to sustainable energy for all, we rely on the trust and credibility that can only be obtained through a genuine concern for the wellbeing of people and the environment. Therefore, we are committed to playing our part in the creation of a Future-Fit Society – one that is environmentally restorative, socially just and economically inclusive. We recognize that we must strive to eliminate all the negative impacts of our business. To BRIGHT, providing renewable energy solutions is not enough. We rely on plastics and batteries that can harm the environment if not sourced, used, and disposed of responsibly. Furthermore, as parts of our operations take place in communities where resources are limited, we recognize that BRIGHT has a particular responsibility to treat our customers and end-users with dignity, and to enable repair and responsible end-of-life treatment of our products. We are privileged to work with partners and in communities where we can catalyse true economic, social and environmental progress. BRIGHT will always seek to create positive impact wherever we can, and the pursuit of future-fitness is a journey we hope to make in collaboration with others. With this statement, BRIGHT is committed to the transformation of our business. We will lead by example and encourage others to do the same by sharing an annual report on our progress. Our first such report, BRIGHT’s Future-Fit Statement of Progress, will be published within the next 12 months.
